Ecoserveis and Granollers Municipality organized a COP25 Side Event at the Green Zone under the Erasmus+ EYES project
Ecoserveis and the Municipality of Granollers organized a workshop at the UNFCCC COP25 (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate ChangeConference of the Parties number 25). The workshop addressed the topic on how young people, the most affected by climate change could help municipalities enhance local climate plans that are effective on creating a climate-resilient planet by 2050.
In the participatory workshop, the Spanish team presented the method they are using under an Erasmus+ European Union funded project EYES and the participants were able to exchange ideas on how the view of young people could be included in climate planning by (a) reflecting on the barriers that don’t currently allow the view of young people to be included in local planning and (b) possible recommendations for policy-makers.
